In 2019, I attended the New Zealand Skeptics Conference, where I got to chatting with the editor of the New Zealand Skeptic Journal at the time.

After some discussion and collaboration, I designed some tarot cards to teach people about logical fallacies, which was published in an article in the NZ Skeptic Journal in January 2020.

At the time, I worked as a Creative Technologist at a maker space and was playing around a lot with Adobe Illustrator, which is what I used to make these tarot cards.

I’ve been involved in the science and skepticism community since I was studying my undergraduate degree. Logical fallacies and biases are frequent topics of discussion among members of this community and this was a fun project to work on! Someday, I would love to create more of these and have them printed as tarot cards or even wall art!
